I went with my brother to the place and saw them, finally! it was just for a really short time because it was just a fan encounter (and I was really late ). we waited at the door backstage for them and I took a video while they went out, the fans just got wild, I get to touch George’s shoulder (hellz yeah) and then yeah my only legit picture that day was the blurriest picture of Hann’s back hooray
but it was okay since I’m seeing them the next day and I was really excited!!
my cousin was there too and when I got home he showed me a signed photo of the 1975 that was given for free (AND I WASN’T AWARE OF IT???!!) but I borrowed it from him and took a photo of it. he also showed me a picture of him when he get to touch Matty’s hair. HIS. HAIR.(wHAT THE HECKY) what a lucky duck but I really enjoyed that day.

I really went early to the venue to buy an album and stub but when I arrived they already ran out (since it was only first 100). I really got disappointed and regretted that I didn’t came earlier but I did not let that ruin the moment cause I’m finally seeing the 1975 live with or without it, no one’s stopping me see them live! I met two really wonderful concert buddies and we waited there for a really long time yet we had fun talking about our common love for bands. after what seemed like forever they set up the stage then some people did the sound check then George went out to see if the drums sound just fine and before he left he smiled and waved at us awkwardly (ayyyye cutie). the most awaited moment came when we heard the intro, we know what’s gonna happen next! they went up the stage and started performing “The City” and the crowd just got wild.

some of my favorite moments were when Matty looked our direction, he waved and smiled at us (awwww), also when they performed You and Milk. it was amazing!! and also I was really happy to hear my favourite song from their self-titled live for the first time which is “Robbers”. the story behind that song is just beautiful, they literally took “you look so cool” to a different level, it’s so good and even better live! the crowd really got crazy with “Chocolate” and lastly they performed “Sex” the first song I’ve ever heard from them. I just… got lost into the music, I literally sang my HEART OUT (see what i did there?) and jumped the whole time, put my hands in the air, I was sweating like there’s no tomorrow and probably looked trash but it didn’t matter, all that matters is that I was there and it was really worth the wait, even though I haven’t met them (which I was supposed to) and didn’t get the chance to give my fanart.
it still was so surreal and in the end it wasn’t so bad, after all, we found a really good spot to watch them and all that mattered was seeing them live finally! I haven’t got a lot of pictures and videos because I really just want to enjoy and savour the best moment of my entire life. I’m truly grateful for it!! the post show depression sucks and I think won’t be able to get over it for a long time but they’ll be coming back next year and i’m sure as hell going to meet them next time they’re here!
